HomeThe project proponent needs to become familiar with the requirements of the particular GHG emissions reduction program under which they wish to generate emissions reduction credits. Each programme has similar but different processes and documentation requirements. Some require the use of specific GHG quantification protocols and/or third party validation of the project document. They may have different eligibility start dates as well as different crediting timelines.
As well the project proponent may wish to register the project on a public registry such as the CleanProjects Registry to make public an account of the GHG emissions reduction project and demonstrate that it is quantified, measured, reported, validated and verified with international standards.
The CSA CleanProjects Registry is available for project proponents and companies to register their GHG projects.
